SAFETY & MEDICAL COVERAGE FOR OUTDOOR EVENTS

Over the years, Glenn Jackson has seen a need for rider care and injury prevention while attending his son’s mountain bike races, most of which did not have bike patrols. He watched as this need has grown in recent years, and then formed a vision of how he could fill this void. After working solo for several events, Glenn and Moe combined forces and began to approach venues about bringing in a trained team of professional patrollers to provide medical care for riders at these events. This led to the creation of a traveling bike patrol, now called D.I.R.T. Medical (Direct Incident Response Team).

Provide Highly Trained Medical Staff / Patrollers With Experience Working Outdoor Events (Mountain Bike Races Specifically)

Emergency Extrication And Removal Of Patients From Remote Trails

Our Team

Glenn Jackson

Founder, Head of Operations & Logistics
Glenn has been a passionate EMT, Firefighter, Fire Officer, Ski Patroller, Bike Patroller, all combined for 40 years. Injury prevention and patient care is his absolute priority. Married to his wife Terry for 35 years. Father to three wonderful children, Brittney 30 years old and twins Corey and Chelsea 20 years old.

Moe Bruno

Co-Founder, Business Representative
Moe has spent more than 15 years in the medical field as both a Licensed Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and a Licensed Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). He is a graduate of St. Lukes University in Bethlehem, PA. Together with his medical skillset, Moe’s passion for mountain biking first led him to contribute to the biking community by volunteering as first aid at biking events. He later acquired his Outdoor Emergency Care Certification (OEC) to augment his ability to help injured event participants. A resident of Harrisonburg, VA, Moe spends much of his free time with his 16-year-old son, Aidan, who is an avid downhill mountain bike racer and a Jr. OEC bike patroller at Bryce resort.
